Gender Roles Change
Female gender roles drastically changed during World War One in The United States of America. When soldiers went to war it was left to the women to fill their roles at home. This meant that women had to work in factories, the medical field , become authoritive, political, and agricultural figures. Unfortunately they were paid only half of what
men were paid. When the war was over women had proved the stereotype that
"women can't do what men can do" became untrue.

The Food & Administration Dominates
The United States of America at the time was the number one food
producing country during the war. Herbert Hoover created U.S.D.A.
This program was created to rationize what America ate during the war so
there would be enough to send overseas to all the soldiers.

America's Pervasive Propaganda
America was a master of propaganda during World War One. During the War; Woodrow Wilson created the Committee of Public Information or the C.P.I. This and many other programs would control war information and only provide pro-war propaganda. Using
entertainment, politics, economy, religion, and education were many ways they would use propaganda.

Military Draft
In the United States, there were three rounds of draft registration in 1917 and
1918. The first two rounds included men from 21 to 31 years of age;
the third round expanded the registration to men from 18 to 45 years of age.
Draft registration was mandatory for men living in the United States,
regardless of citizenship status.A total of 24.3 million American men registered for the
draft (about a quarter of the population), of which about 2.8 million were drafted. Another 2 million men volunteered or otherwise enlisted (those who had already volunteered did not
have to fill out draft registration cards).
In all, about 4.3 million men were actually mobilized.

African Americans In America
African Americans started finding equality during the Great War. They were allowed to fight in the great war many achieved respected status and higher positions. Many male and female
African Americans took up empty jobs that werent at the time acceptable
during the time. African Americans mostly all in the Northern States achieved
and gained attention that was valued and respected. World War One ultimatly
became a vessel in which more freedoms were given to African American citizens.

Hispanics In America
More then 400,000 Hispanic citizens joined the army for America. For many Mexican Americans, jobs in industry provided an escape hatch from the desperate poverty of migratory farm labor. Like African Americans during the time Hispanics were considered the "Gypsy's" of America. The Great War allowed them to fill upper echelon positions in place of Caucasion people.
Labor Unions Changed America Forever
Labors Unions in World War One made the job force for the middle and low class more functionable and practically livable. Fixed eight hour workdays were put in place. A minimum wage rate was put in place state by state. Benefits became profound and accessible to all workers.
Woodrow Wilson's 14 Points Will Ricochet Negatively
The Fourteen Points were President Wilson's idealized version of how peace could
be restored to Europe, but they were created and delivered without really
consulting the countries that were directly affected by the war. When the Treaty
of Versailles was signed, it was used as leverage for the League of Nations to
exact punishment on Germany instead of being the 'round table' for peace in
Europe that Wilson was hoping for. The economic depression that the Treaty led
to in Germany planted the seeds for the development of the Nazi regime.

Treaty of Versailles; War Ends
On 11 Novmber 1918 The signing of The Treaty of Versailles ends World War One. America celebrates and the troops come home to a very different version of America; a new and improved country. But yet it still had its fllaws. America was finacially insecure and extremelly broke due to the war. The signing of the treaty made Germany pay for all the debts, damages, and reprocusions it caused to America. The sad part was Germany was broke it's self and had no money to pay off Anmerica. Which Is one majour reason America went through "A Great Depression" in the late 20's and all of the 1930's.
